I am anxiously awaiting an ED from IU-B. Does anyone have any info on when they have historically been sent out? I know the deadline is on or before Dec. 15 but what have you all heard?
Also for anyone who has gotten an acceptance from IU-B, how did they inform you? Call, mail, email?
Thanks!

Anybody heard anything from IU-Bloomington besides a complete email? Even if you're not ED?

If your LSAT is 164, you're in, don't worry about it. When they notify you is simply details.

Their 164+ obsession is pretty pronounced. If you look as LSN almost everyone with a 164 who submitted before or around the first week of December got accepted around the last week of December

I would not count on 164 being the dividing line again this year. With the big jump that IUB admissions made last year, I'm sure they are going to do everything they can to solidify and maintain their current ranking. It could be to the detriment of prospective students who just two years ago would have been auto-admit.

Of course, this is 100% speculation on my part, but it was a huge jump. The endowment money could only be part of the jump.

I definitely wouldn't consider it a lock.

I don't think its a lock. I just think that its odd that the 164 trend was so pronounced. Though I think the jump is in part due to that strategy. They have been throwing money at applicants the last few years to get the numbers they have. I don't know how much longer they can continue that strategy. Though, I guess their jump would highlight the main difference in private and public schools, money for scholarships. If all public schools could give as much money as Indiana has been, I think the top 30 would look quite different.

No shit, Sherlock. Considering reebtoor posted on November 30. Unless he could see into the future, that would seem to be pretty self-explanatory.

Geez, I'm sorry for not noticing the date; there's no need to be a jerk about it.
