I'm sure this topic has probably been debated before and its all speculation, but has anyone sat through a February LSAT and other disclosed LSATs and noticed a difference? I'd like to rewrite In February, but the fact that it's not disclosed is not very comforting. Of course the LSAT is a standardized test, but it just seems that because it's not disclosed LSAT may treat the test as more of an experimental test, with more unconventional questions for research purposes. This is probably just me stressing, but I'm just curious, has anyone written the February sitting and felt the test was more weird than other PTs?

I've had several students take the February test and not notice any difference. LSAC goes to great lengths to equate each of the tests, so you really have nothing to worry about. Besides, if you get the score you probably won't be interested in reviewing the test anyway.

Why ISN'T the Feb. test disclosed? Any particular reason? Or is that just the way they do it and we have no clue why?

The February tests are usually reused (sometimes several times) for the exams that don't take place in the U.S. and/or on the "normal" date (such as the Monday test for Sunday Sabbath Observers). It wouldn't be fair to use the exact same test since due to the time difference people in Europe or Asia take it several hours after the U.S., and therefore the questions could get out. Also I'm guessing that it has something to do with the curve... they need a supply of tests that have already been measured against the U.S. test-taking population, since having a different curve in Europe, Asia etc where the majority of the people taking the test does not have English as their native language, isn't fair.

Can you prove this or are you just speculating?

I took the December 2009 lsat in Asia, and after some obsessive searching (which I am not proud of, but seriously WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO GIVE US OUR SCORES) I found that we had the exact same test as the February 2007 one in the U.S., except for the RC.
We had a different test than the one in Europe, but apparently the U.S. Sabbath observers who took the lsat on Monday took the exact same test we did.
Also, apparently the PTs in the LSAC Superprep book (the one that has 3 previously undisclosed February test) were also reused several times before they published them in a book...

^ link to me basically saying the same thing as above but with other people supporting that it was the same test.
