Can anyone share with me where I should start to study for the LSAT in June or Oct 2010? I have so many questions and this forum looks like the right place for some guidance. Let me start with some simple questions to get this started.

Is it best to do some pre-tests and see where I stand, then focus on my weaknesses?

Where can I find some pre-tests...any online resources?

From what I have gathered thus far, it appears that it is best to use official LSAT material, where can I find this?

FYI-I just bought the Official LSAT SuperPrep book and the PS Logic Game Bible.

Thanks for your help!

I would take a prep-test. I believe the June 2007 is avaliable free from LSAC's website. This will tell you where you stand, how hard you need to work, and serve as a good introduction to the test.

You're already on the right track with the LGB. You'll also want to pick up a dozen or more of the latest tests, as well as the three sets of ten. Work the books, take practice tests.

And keep reading these forums, the search function will help you a lot too. Hope this helps!

Take the June 2007 test from online, strictly timed, then come back.

start testing and reading up on the process of the test. DON'T read the crap posted on here until you get closer to your application cycle

Edit: when referring to "crap posted on here" i mean the stuff in other sections that will tell you how bad you are gonna hate life during and after law school

This may be poor advice if the confidence hit is great.

For LSAT Prep: Understanding>Speed>Endurance. Don't put the cart before the horse.

It's really important to know where you're starting, what to work on, and what the real thing is going to be like. It is never poor advice to begin with a strictly timed diagnostic, thank you.
